In the second of my series of "stuff I haven't shown you", here is my daughter's repainted dresser/change table. I added glass knobs and painted it "cloud white" by Benjamin Moore.

Here is the "before":

My plan is to eventually make a shelf/hutch for the top so that it doesn't look so "change-table-y". In times of a recession, one works with what one has!

Jill, that changing table looks so much better in white! Love it! Was it laminate before you painted it? I'm just asking because I've been wanting to paint some wood laminate shelves in my kitchen for a long time and don't know the right way to prep them. I may have come across something tonight, but I'm looking for first-hand experience.
Jill,
What a great makeover. I think these are my favorite kinds of blog posts. The white paint makes all the difference.
Simply gorgeous.
Love the transformation--the knobs are perfect with it.

just stumbled upon your blog. what a great makeover! i love to see what people can do with things they already have. i think when you personalize and add some accessories it won't look 'change table' at all. enjoyed looking around your blog:)

This looks great! I do so love white furniture and cloud white is the best white. It is Steven and Chris's favorite! (Do you watch that show?)

Wow the paint really made a difference in that piece of furniture.
That looks great! Please give us a tutorial on how to paint laminate furniture! I have so much that's crying out for some paint, but I'm scared!

I have the same change table and I just put a cute little lamp on the top and some really pretty frames and you don't even notice that it was a change table! (just my 2cents)
